THANK YOU to the 3000 Scotiabank AIDS WALK for LIFE 2009 participants who raised over $325,000 to enhance the health of British Columbians living with HIV/AIDS! Donations are still welcome…and needed. Donate by clicking here!

The money raised from the WALK supports BCPWA’s Complementary Health Fund. The Complementary Health Fund or CHF is considered to be one of the most important programs of the BC Persons with AIDS Society. It provides persons living with HIV and AIDS in your community with healing therapies that are otherwise not covered by the health care system. Most often the fund is used for therapies as ordinary as vitamins! Many of us take the availability of vitamins for granted.

Something as simple as a vitamin can make a huge difference in the life of someone with a compromised immune system - especially someone who can’t afford it.

So please give - if you can. Donations are still needed. Our CHF fund has a waiting list. If you have the ability to give, Please help the people with HIV/AIDS in our community stay strong, be healthy and live longer !

We look forward to celebrating the WALK’s 25th anniversary with you next year at Sunset Beach!
